Outline Planning Permission
If you have a plot of land in mind, its advisable to gain Outline Planning Permission before proceeding with full detailed plans as the proposed plot may not gain planning permission.

In most cases, outline approval as opposed to full approval can be a useful vehicle for testing the water, especially where approval may not be clear cut. The amount of information required to prepare an outline planning application is considerably less than that for a full application. Detailed plans are not required at this stage. It is, therefore, a less expensive method of establishing whether or not planning will be granted.
